Reprogram Your Thinking and Work From Home

I once read a saying from Lady Nancy Astor which said, "The trouble with most people is that they think with their hopes or fears or wishes rather than with their minds." This saying made me think about why so many people are afraid to work from home. It is the fear of the unknown, and self-doubt which handicaps our ability to achieve success. In fact, this has kept millions of people with all of the ability in the world from going after their goals.

If we were able to see into the future, we would all be rich. Not only would we have very few problems, but our lives would be nearly mistake free. Unfortunately, our vision is not good enough to see what awaits us down the road. It is this fear of what awaits us that has held many people back in various aspects of their lives. This is especially true for those who have considered starting a business which would allow them to work from home, but have failed to take action.

Here is the problem. Many people envision themselves as failing before they even begin. They forecast themselves as having too little time, money, and know-how to be successful with an online business. Rather than envisioning success, they envision what they "think" should or will happen. This envision is further solidified by those surrounding them who tell them that they cannot be successful. What they envision is the product of a mindset which says, and I am sure that I can quote, "Others can succeed at an online business, but I cannot see myself being successful."

As you can see, people do not fail to work from home because they do not have the time, money, or know-how. Rather, they do not start their online business because they have an inappropriate mindset. They simply have convinced themselves that they cannot be successful before even proving themselves right or wrong. Often times they feel destined for failure, cursed to always work for someone else forty plus hours per week for the next twenty to thirty years, just hope to have enough money to survive, and get a few weeks off of work each year.

Brian Tracy is quoted as saying, "You can learn anything you need to learn to achieve any goal you can set for yourself; there are no limits." This is a FACT!

How do you achieve this mindset which allows you to achieve limitless being? Unfortunately, it is not easy. For the vast majority of our lives to this point we have been told by family and friends, "You cannot do that." Therefore, we have been brainwashed to think negatively, and need our minds to be reprogrammed to flush out the negative beliefs, and replace them with positive ones. While there is no magic formula to make this happen, I can give you some tips.

Start by surrounding yourself with positive people who already have the positive mindset which you are attempting to achieve. Conversely, avoid the negative people in your life, as best you are able. Read books written by positive motivational speakers such as Napoleon Hill, Jim Rohn, and Dale Carnegie. Take time each day to exercise your mind to think positively. Focus on envisioning success, and what you need to do to get there.

Keep in mind that you will not be reprogrammed overnight. However, you will eventually start to see yourself viewing not only your life, but the world in a different light. The "I cannot", will become "I know I can". You will stop doubting yourself. Once you achieve your first few goals, your confidence will skyrocket and propel you into setting and achieving further goals. As Napoleon Hill stated, "Whatever the mind of man can conceive and believe, it can achieve."

There is absolutely no reason in this world that you cannot work from home and be successful. Train your mind to conceive success, believe success, and achieve success.
