The Solution: Work From Home By Affiliate Marketing

As I have praised in previous articles, affiliate marketing is one for the best work from home strategies due to its clean nature as a scam-free business. However, dominating the affiliate marketing industry has its challenges. Generally, if you are promoting a specific product, there are several other affiliates promoting the same products. 

As human beings, our DNA is 99.9% identical across our human race. As affiliate marketers, you have to find that 0.1% and allow it shape you into a super-affiliate. Be different from the affiliates who are promoting the same offer which you are. Find ways to promote the offer that no one else has even considered.

Since affiliate marketing is a business within a larger marketing industry, you should separate yourself from the pack by creating a website which is dedicated towards affiliate marketing promotion. This is imperative, as it allows you to create and build your own affiliate marketing opt-in lists. Furthermore, it allows you to widen your net, and promote numerous affiliate products simultaneously. A free and easy way to create a website is by using a free content management system such as Joomla!.  

Conversely, although they are provided to aid you, try and avoid affiliate marketing materials which are provided to you the affiliate, by the merchant/advertiser. With so many affiliates using the same material, buyers become desensitized, and are unlikely to blink at such ads. You will quickly learn that you will make more sales when you create your own marketing materials, including free gifts such as programs, reports, or ebooks. 

While you are promoting affiliate products, do not forget that your primary goal is to promote yourself. Make sure that you are promoting your website front and center. If you have an opt-in on your website, make sure that you provide something of value in exchange for opting-in. Super-affiliates use tools such as article marketing, pay-per-click ads, forum signatures, public bookmarking, etc., to drive targeted traffic to their affiliate marketing websites and opt-in lists. From there, super-affiliates promote the specific affiliate products on their websites, and to their opt-in lists. First you bring the traffic to yourself, then you launch the product to the traffic.

From time to time, you can offer additional gifts to people who purchase affiliate products through your links. There are several very inexpensive PLR (private label rights) products which you can legitimately label as your own, and provide as gifts. Most affiliates to do not do this, however, the great affiliates do.

However, such a method should only be limited more expensive affiliate products. You want the buyer to see that you are adding value to their purchase. Such perception of adding value would be greatly diminished if you were to offer a gift for every single offer. Worse yet, you might find that you list will only react to an offer if there is a free gift accompanying it. 

An additional effective affiliate marketing method is to host teleseminars to promote the benefits of affiliate products. Keep in mind that you teleseminar must be targeted towards benefits for the potential buyer. You should offer helpful information either on your own, or through a 1-on-1 interview through the first segment of a one hour call, then use the last segment of the call to direct the listener to your website, and the specific offer on your website. Have them opt-in, direct them to the merchant's sale's page, and watch your affiliate sales skyrocket!

In conclusion, make sure that you always seperate yourself from the rest. Yes, it requires more effort, but it also results in more reward. If you think about it, this is exactly what anyone who is taking steps to work from home is engaging in from the start.
